I've been teaching
teaching Marie how to knit with her Bond machine. I took pictures of tools I've made and instructions to help. Here's a 2 prong latch tool I made, used for ribbing>>
and this is the weighted hem (that is Ssoo difficult and cumbersome) - I fixed by crocheting 2 rows of single crochet to it permanetly, marking center. Easier to use now & with ravel cord its ready to adapt to any size project.
I'm next trying to make a cast on comb similar to Roberta's (knittingmachine yahoo group) I have an extra small hem and going to utilize that with it.
My Thanks to the group members who have shown all sorts of good ideas! And all the great web pages out there with new and interesting items, options, and patterns!
You've all leant inspiration. Thank you.
I've been working on GrandKids Logan and Quinn presents (good looking if I say so myself!) Hope to have a collection done by Christmas-time! I thought a toy or 2 may be fun so I'm going searching for a pattern.
Bye.

Sweaters
June - Time to start a new blog
A blog just for my crafts-- should be interesting. Well I'll try to keep it up to date.
A bit about myself:
I crochet, needletat, machine knit (with a Bond sweater machine or using my Brother punchcard), loom knit, make jewelry, etc, etc. I also like to write, paint, and garden. And I've been doing a bit of Family history research, as well. [And working full-time . . .] All for FUN!
The photo is of a sweater I made on the Brother Punchcard machine. What a shame the idiots stopped production of their machines! The machines, punchcard and then electric, were so fabulous!
--at the moment I've been working on crocheted afghans and Bond knit sweaters. Christmas presents, hopefully.
Let me get this started- bye for now!
